How do I filter creators by country and city?

The Country filter (Creator Filter section) restricts results to creators whose detected location is in the selected country — you can select several countries at once. On TikTok and YouTube a City filter appears once exactly one country is selected; it is disabled while multiple countries are active. For the USA there is additionally a state-level filter.

On Instagram the country and city filters are replaced by the unified Location filter, which offers two modes: a classic search by fixed country and city terms, and a map-based search by coordinates with a radius (see the entry on location & radius). Keep in mind that the filters match the creator's own detected location — if you want to reach an audience in a country, use the audience country filter instead.

Good to know:

  • For the country and city filters, influData uses only one country (and one city) per creator, derived from public signals such as the bio, captions and tagged locations. For creators who travel a lot or split their time between several places, the detected location can therefore be off; the city shown is the one that has been referenced most often recently.
  • When in doubt, open the creator's Audience Report and check the audience breakdown by country and city to see where the followers actually are.
  • Filtering by country or city returns noticeably fewer results, because creators without a detected location are excluded. Use these filters only when the creator's own location really matters.

Which countries are available? The country list covers more than 100 countries on every continent (type to find one quickly, and combine as many as you need in one search). On Instagram, the map-based location search additionally lets you search around any place worldwide with a radius. Data depth naturally varies by market. If a country you need is missing from the list, tell us via the in-app chat.
