New: Watchlist

Your creators post. You hear it first.

Put the Instagram and TikTok accounts you work with on a permanent watchlist. influData captures every post, reel and story, archives all of it, and alerts you when something happens: in the app, by email or as an API event in your own systems.

Permanent monitoring

A fixed roster of Instagram and TikTok creators that influData monitors permanently: every post, reel and story.

An archive that stays

Twelve months of Instagram history when you add a creator, and a permanent archive of everything published from then on, including expired stories.

Alerts on your rules

From new content to a sentiment drop: you set the rules, they are evaluated every 15 minutes, and alerts reach you in the app, by email or as API events.

Plugs into your systems

A content feed in the app, plus a REST API and MCP connector that bring the stream into your CMS, BI or AI tools.

Why following creators by hand stops working

Checking by hand eats your morning

Clicking through profiles, taking screenshots, typing numbers into a sheet. Past a dozen accounts that is half a day gone, and you still miss the one story that mattered.

The feed decides what you see

Instagram and TikTok show what their algorithm picks. Professional monitoring needs completeness, not a selection.

Stories vanish after 24 hours

Without an archive, the source is gone before your team needs it. influData snapshots stories before they expire.

Viral posts reach you last

By the time a post reaches your own feed, the window to react has often closed. Early-viral alerts compare a post against the creator’s own baseline while it is still climbing.

Data belongs in your systems

The content stream and every alert are available via API, so the data lands where your team already works: your CMS, your BI, your internal tools.

What gets captured

Once a creator is on your watchlist, influData monitors profile, content and comments continuously. There is nothing to configure.

  • Posts, reels, stories and videos from every creator on your list
  • A full refresh of profile, content and comments at least once a day
  • Fresh content that starts gaining traction is re-measured around the clock
  • Stories are snapshotted during monitoring and stay in your archive after they expire on the platform
  • Twelve months of Instagram history backfilled the moment you add a creator
  • Verified accounts of the same person on Instagram and TikTok are tracked together and share one seat

Seven rule types, from new posts to sentiment drops

Alert rules are shared with your whole team, can target all creators or a selection, and every rule picks its own channels. Rules are evaluated every 15 minutes.

New content

Fires on new posts, reels, stories or videos, filterable by content type.

Keyword match

Up to 20 keywords per rule, searched in captions, transcriptions, text in video and, if you want, comments.

Mentioned by others

Another account mentions your creator, with a minimum follower threshold to filter noise.

Follower change

The follower count rises or falls more than your threshold within a window you define.

Viral post

Engagement lands a multiple above the creator’s usual level.

Early viral

A new post is growing much faster than the creator’s own baseline. You hear about it within hours.

Sentiment drop

The mood in the comments falls measurably below the creator’s 30-day baseline.

How alerts reach you

  • In-app notifications with a direct link to the triggering content
  • Email, instantly or bundled into a daily digest
  • API events you can poll from your own systems

The watchlist in your CMS, BI or AI tools

The watchlist API is an add-on to your plan. You authenticate with your organization’s API key and get everything you see in the app as clean JSON. Alert rules are still managed in the app.

  • Roster management: add, remove and label creators programmatically
  • Content stream: the full feed with filters for platform, content type and timeframe
  • Per-creator analytics: details, sentiment timeline, brand mentions, flagged comments
  • Alert events with incremental polling: fetch only what is new since your last call
  • Standard limits of 25 requests per second and 1,000 per minute, with a monthly budget per contract
  • MCP connector: six watchlist tools for Claude, ChatGPT and any other MCP client

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms does the watchlist support?

Instagram and TikTok. When a creator has verified accounts on both platforms, they are tracked together and share a single seat.

How often is the data refreshed?

Every creator on your watchlist gets a full refresh at least once a day, covering profile, content and comments. Fresh content that starts gaining traction is re-measured around the clock, and alert rules are evaluated every 15 minutes. Higher update frequencies are on the way.

Are stories saved?

Yes. Stories are captured during monitoring and stay in your archive permanently, including after they expire on Instagram. That makes the watchlist a reliable source even for content that no longer exists on the platform.

How much history do I get, and how long is content stored?

When you add an Instagram creator, influData backfills twelve months of their content. From then on, everything the creator publishes is archived without a time limit for as long as your subscription runs.

What alerts can I set up?

Seven rule types: new content, keyword matches (including in comments), mentions by other accounts, follower jumps or drops, viral posts, early viral velocity and sentiment drops. Each rule can target all creators or a selection, and you can create up to 30 rules, keyword rules with up to 20 keywords each. Rules are managed in the app.

How do alerts reach me?

In the app via the notification bell, by email either instantly or as a daily digest, and via the API as alert events you can poll from your own systems. Alerts link directly to the content that triggered them.

Can I pull the content stream into my CMS or other tools?

Yes. The watchlist API returns your roster, the full content stream, per-creator analytics and alert events as JSON. It is available as an add-on to your plan; you authenticate with your organization’s API key.

Are there webhooks?

Not yet. The API supports efficient incremental polling: request alert events with a since parameter and you only receive what is new. Webhooks are planned as the next stage of the API.

How is the size of my watchlist counted?

In creator seats, and a seat stands for one person. If a creator runs both an Instagram and a TikTok account, they still occupy just one seat. The number of seats depends on your plan and can be extended at any time.

Do the creator analytics cost extra credits?

No. Deep dives, sentiment timelines and brand safety reports for watched creators are included in the seat.

Can AI assistants work with my watchlist?

Yes. The influData MCP connector exposes the watchlist to Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-capable assistants: read the roster, add or remove creators, query the content feed and fetch alert events, all from a chat.

Put your creators on the list

A watchlist takes minutes to set up. From then on your team sees every post first, and nobody tells you about a story you have not seen.
