Our algorithm parses all publicly available data of a profile — bio, post captions, hashtags, stories and more — to determine the most likely location of a creator and the primary language of their channel. You see both values at the top of the profile, and you can use them as filters (country, city, language) in the creator search.
Locations are updated weekly during the regular profile updates or when a profile is refreshed manually. If no new location information is available at the time of an update, the existing value remains unchanged. Because the values are derived from public signals, they can occasionally deviate for creators who travel a lot, live abroad or post in several languages.
