To find the right influencers for your campaign, you can tailor the type of search (text-prompt or filter criteria) and search parameters in influData to your needs. The best method may vary depending on the situation – some users might prefer the traditional filter search, while others favor the new prompt search. One especially effective approach is to combine both methods: start with a prompt and then refine the results with filters. This way, you can use both options to optimize your creator search.
Our new AI search lets you find influencers with simple text prompts instead of manually setting individual filters. Just type what you’re looking for, like “Creators from Germany who drive a Volkswagen Golf with over 20k followers,” “LEGO fans in Germany, Austria, Switzerland,” or “Family influencers from Germany,” and influData will deliver relevant results. This way, you can skip setting specific parameters like keywords, country, city, follower count, language, gender, growth, and engagement rate.
Pro tip: Begin your creator search with broader terms, then narrow down with specifics – you’ll get better results that way.
Flexible Search Options
Test to see which method works best for you – whether it’s prompt search, filter search, or a combination of both.
If you prefer to work with filter criteria, here’s a breakdown of how to make the most of them:
Start by selecting the platform where you want to search: Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube/YouTube Shorts.
Choose the country or countries where the influencers should be based. You can also select multiple countries to find influencers from all of them, such as Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
If you’re only searching within one country, you can further narrow your search by selecting specific cities. Click on “Choose (multiple) cities” and select your desired cities.
Use the sliders to set the desired number of followers, reach, or plays per reel that the influencers should have. Pro Tip: Smaller influencers often have better engagement and are more cost-effective than those with large followings. It might be worthwhile to work with several smaller influencers rather than just a few large ones, depending on what and who you want to reach.
Choose the language that the influencers you’re searching for should post in.
Note: Since many influencers post in multiple languages (especially English), it’s advisable to select only the countries where the influencers are from and leave the language filter blank to avoid overly restricting the results.
Choose the gender of the influencers you’re searching for by clicking on “Choose Gender” and selecting the desired option
Here, you can search for specific keywords that influencers have used in their posts. Enter as many keywords as you like; with multiple keywords, the search is more precise as it operates on an AND basis (switching to OR if one keyword yields no results). To exclude certain keywords, just add a minus sign before them. This excludes influencers who have posted with the unwanted keywords. For example, if searching for fitness influencers but excluding yoga content, enter “fitness” and “-yoga.”
Search for specific brand mentions influencers have used in their posts. You can enter multiple mentions, and it doesn’t matter if you include the “@” symbol. If you want to exclude specific mentions, simply add a minus sign before them. For example, to find fitness influencers but exclude those who’ve worked with Adidas, enter “-adidas” or “-@adidas.”
The category search helps you find influencers who post content in specific areas. It works similarly to the keyword search but uses predefined categories. Select a category such as Fashion & Style, Fitness & Wellness, or Food & Drink to get a list of influencers who regularly post about that topic, allowing you to quickly identify creators whose content aligns with your brand.
Use the slider to set the minimum engagement rate for the influencers you’re looking for.
Use the slider to set the minimum growth rate for the influencers or their follower count. A small growth rate can help filter out stagnant influencers.
In addition to criteria for the influencers themselves, influData also lets you define criteria for the audience of the influencers you’re looking for. To search for influencers based on their audience, you can apply the following filters:
Choose the country or countries where the audience should be based. Use the slider to set the minimum percentage of the audience from the selected country, adjusting it to suit your needs.
Set the gender ratio of the audience with this slider. Adjust it to define the desired percentage of male or female followers.
Use the slider to set the percentage of real followers. This helps you find influencers with an authentic and active following. Note: A percentage of real followers above 65% is rarely realistic. Therefore, you should choose a moderate value.
Set the average age of the audience with this slider to target a specific age segment.
To exclude search results that are already in your collections or favorites, check the corresponding box. To find influencers who list an email address for collaboration inquiries in their profile, check “Must include Email.”
The search results can be sorted by relevance, score, username, number of followers, views per post, engagement rate, and follower growth rate. When you hover over the profile photo, the last 9 posts and the influData Score will be displayed. These two features help you quickly assess whether the influencers are suitable.
You can add the search results to your favorites, a compare list, or directly to a collection.
If you want to compare results immediately, you can select up to 20 influencers to compare. Click “Start Comparison” in the upper right to evaluate their performance and decide which influencers to collaborate with.
Then click “Start Comparison” at the top right to compare the performance of the influencers and decide more quickly which ones you want to collaborate with.
The search results show not only the name but also the username (handle), location, language, and influencer category, along with key KPIs such as follower count, views per post, and engagement rate. You’ll also see the number of content pieces that match the selected keywords and/or categories. Each piece is visible, giving you a direct overview of the influencer’s relevant content.
You’ll also see our AI-generated profile summary, which provides a summary based on their content and identifies the ideal category assignment. This gives you more accurate search results and saves valuable time.
