How do I set up a campaign so that it is tracked?

Three things need to be in place before influData tracks content for a campaign: the creators, the terms that define your campaign, and an active campaign.

  1. Add creators. Open the campaign's Creator Overview and use Add a New Creator: pick the platform and type the username. You can also select creators in a collection, choose Add to campaign and activate them directly in the campaign. Every tracked creator uses one of your tracking seats.
  2. Tell influData what counts as campaign content. In the Keywords & Mentions Manager add the hashtags, @mentions, keywords or links that identify your campaign posts (details in the entry on content tracking setup). Alternatively set a creator's content matching to all in the Creator Overview to track every post the creator publishes from the day they joined the campaign.
  3. Activate the campaign. When you create a campaign you decide whether it starts right away or stays inactive until you start it manually. An inactive campaign shows the status Inactive in the campaign navigation; click Activate Campaign directly under the campaign name to start tracking from that moment. Creators are not tracked while the campaign is inactive, and the app reminds you to activate the campaign first.

Tracking seats are limited per package. If you run out of seats, archive creators you no longer need or archive finished campaigns; the freed seats are available again for new creators. Creators added while no seat is free stay in onboarding status and are not tracked until you activate them manually.
