What are the YouTube video view, like, and comment scores?

The video scores rate a creator's long-form videos on three dimensions — views, likes, and comments — each in relation to the subscriber count and benchmarked against channels of similar size.

Together they show whether a channel's videos reliably reach and engage its subscriber base.

In detail, the three video scores are calculated over the last 12 long-form videos, and the horizontal bars compare each value with channels of a similar subscriber count:

  • Video views score: the median of views divided by the subscriber count over the last 12 videos. A low value suggests that many subscribers are inactive and that only few videos get promoted to non-subscribers, meaning they rarely go viral.
